Our physicians and nurses are experienced and highly trained to care for children. We offer timely treatment for life-threatening conditions such as accidents and severe illnesses. When you arrive, please enter through a separate entrance located to the left of the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center’s adult emergency department. On the dedicated floor, colorful animal tracks – ducks’ feet, bear paw prints and deer hoof prints – lead the way to the 17 private rooms. We create a calm and caring environment, so children experience less anxiety and stress while at the hospital.
