Overview

Cape Fear Valley Health places Education among its corporate values, because we believe in promoting lifelong learning and preparing future medical professionals. Therefore, across our eight-hospital health system, we are home to not one, but two thriving graduate medical education programs.

The Cape Fear Valley Graduate Medical Education (GME) Department offers an ever-growing number of residencies and fellowships that are designed to provide each trainee a foundation for lifelong learning while fulfilling the accrediting bodies knowledge and competency requirements.

Harnett Health and Campbell University have partnered together to provide internal medicine, family medicine and transitional year residency programs in Harnett County and surrounding areas. These programs are designed to train physicians who will practice in rural and underserved (HPSA) areas.
