The Cape Fear Valley Pharmacy Residency Programs are designed to develop pharmacist practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide exceptional patient care to a diverse population, serve in teaching and precepting roles, pursue advanced education and training opportunities in a flexible and supportive environment

We have eight PGY1 residents and two PGY2 residents. Our programs include a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program with two focuses – Acute Care and Ambulatory Care, a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency Program, and a PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency Program. Our programs prepare residents to enter clinical practice, pursue a PGY2 residency program, and seek board certification.
