About Stephen H Kouba, MD
Dr. Kouba is a board-certified orthopedic doctor who specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of conditions and injuries of the hip, knee, and shoulder, with a special emphasis on sports-related injuries. After finishing his undergraduate degree at Rutgers College, Dr. Kouba went on to receive his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He stayed in Washington, D.C., to complete an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. After completing his residency, Dr. Kouba served as a major in the United States Army Medical Corps during Operation Desert Storm.
