About Shraddha Narechania, DO

Shraddha Narechania MD joined Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as the Pulmonary Fellowship Program Director in December 2022. She is also Assistant Professor of Medicine at Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Narechania earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ramnivas Ruia Junior College, Mumbai, India in 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from K. J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Center, Mumbai, India in 2011. She then moved to United States and did her Internal Medicine residency training at Cleveland Clinic/Fairview Hospital (Cleveland, OH) before going onto to complete her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH) in 2019. She then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Bergan Mercy medical center/Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE before moving to North Carolina in 2022. Dr. Narechania is triple board certified in Internal medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. She achieved testamur status in the NBE Critical Care Echocardiography Board Examination (CCEeXAM) in 2019 when it was offered for the first time. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). Her clinical and scholarly interests include many areas of critical care and pulmonary medicine, but particularly pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, point of care ultrasound and simulation training. Dr Narechania is married and lives in Fayetteville with her husband and their two children. She enjoys traveling with her family during her spare time.
