Our Approach to Hospice Care
At Valley Hospice House, providing end-of-life care in a serene, home-like setting is our priority.
Hospice house care is for those who have decided to stop treating their disease and can no longer stay at home. Our hospice program focuses on comfort and dignity for patients in their final stages of life.
Valley Hospice House features eight private suites and offers 24-hour specialized care. This peaceful environment ensures your loved one receives the utmost comfort without the bustle of a hospital.
Families are essential in our care approach. The Family Hospitality Wing includes a family welcome room, dining room, and guest respite areas. This allows family members to stay close and comfortable during this critical time.
Our interdisciplinary care team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, and spiritual counselors. They work together to address physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.
Pain management and symptom control are key focuses of our care. We aim to reduce suffering and enhance the quality of life for our patients.
Spiritual and grief counseling are available in our specialized spaces. We support both patients and their families through the natural process of dying.
