Overview

Cape Fear Valley Betsy Johnson Hospital, in conjunction with Campbell University, offers a PGY-1 pharmacy residency program that is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exemplary pharmaceutical care.  Residents who successfully complete PGY1 residency programs will be skilled in diverse patient care, practice management, leadership, and education, and be prepared to provide patient care, seek board certification in pharmacotherapy (i.e., BCPS), and pursue advanced education and training opportunities including postgraduate year two (PGY2) residencies.

The program offers 2 PGY1 positions with competitive salary and benefits, as well as providing travel to attend ASHP Midyear, the NCAP resident’s conference and the Southeastern Residency Conference in Athens, Georgia.
