The Cancer Centers include Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Infusion Therapy Departments. Outpatient oncology nurses are a part of an interdisciplinary team of Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Dieticians, Social work, and Financial navigation.
Their role in patient care includes chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, patient education, care coordination, patient advocacy, and emotional support.
