Overview
RNs or LPNs who function like temporary workers to supplement the permanent nursing staff during high patient census and staffing shortages. Supplemental nurses work in all patient care areas and have flexible schedules.

Candidates
Two years of nursing is preferred. Candidates have strong clinical skills and are adaptable to different nursing environments. BLS/ACLS are required as appropriate for unit (courses provided by CFVHS). Professional growth through academic advancement, specialty certification, and Clinical Ladder participation are encouraged.
