Michael Dilello graduated from Alderson Broaddus College, in Philippi, West Virginia, with a double major in Medical Science and Sports Medicine. In addition, Michael held his certification and licensure in athletic training for the majority of his career while practicing as a Physician Assistant.

Michael has over 30 years of experience working in orthopaedic medicine, working with excellent surgeons in Charlotte, Wilmington and currently teamed with Fayetteville Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

Michael’s expertise includes an entire spectrum of acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions of both upper and lower extremities, including fractures, dislocations, sprains, and strains, as well as spinal conditions; sports and work-related.

He has assisted in the care of many athletes from the Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte Knights triple-A team, and many college and Universities, including UNC Charlotte, Davidson College, Methodist University and Fayetteville State University. Michael also works with local area high schools in their athletic sports care.

Michael sees patients of all ages for a wide array of orthopaedic problems. He is in the office 5 days a week to assist with the care of the community.
