About Kristin Holbrook, NP
Kristin Holbrook, Nurse Practitioner, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Wilmington in 2012. She started her career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the patient’s bedside in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) at Duke.
After two years, she returned to UNC Wilmington for her Master of Science in Nursing while working in the ICU at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. After graduation, she returned to Duke and completed an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Rheumatology Fellowship and stayed there in full-time clinical practice in rheumatology and infusion for about six years.
Holbrook came to Cape Fear Valley Health the beginning of 2024 and serves in different roles in the Cancer Center and Injection + Infusion Clinics. She thoroughly enjoys helping our patients understand what they can expect while undergoing treatment for their cancer.
Holbrook is married to her high-school sweetheart, and they have a son, Luke, and two crazy dogs, Buddy, a yellow lab, and Daisy, a miniature dachshund.
