Carrie Clough, FNP

Carrie M. Clough is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner currently working at Cape Fear Valley Primary Care - Highland Family. She holds an Unrestricted North Carolina Registered Nurse License and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University in 2022. She has completed extensive clinical hours in family practice, urgent care and pediatrics. Carrie has a diverse healthcare background, beginning with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She has worked in various roles, including as a Clinic Manager/Supervisor at St. Joseph’s of the Pines LIFE Center, where she was responsible for managing clinic operations, coordinating patient care, overseeing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Carrie has also worked in roles involving critical care, oncology, neurology, and case management, demonstrating expertise in a wide range of clinical areas. In her current position, she manages both chronic and acute conditions, performs procedures, prescribes medications, and ensures comprehensive patient care for individuals aged 9 and older.
