Ready to take the next step in your nursing career
Overview
Emergency Departments (ED) provide unscheduled outpatient services to patients whose condition requires immediate attention to save a life or limb. The ED prioritizes treatment for patients during Triage. Patients needing immediate life or limb threatening measures are treated first. Those with minor ailments may have to wait. The ED is equipped with monitors, point of care diagnostics, essential medication, and other equipment needed to provide high quality care. The ED treatment team works in close association with other departments such as radiology, laboratory and blood bank etc.
