Chest Pain Center
CFVHS Chest Pain Center is an Accredited Chest Pain Center through the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC) and is located in the Cape Fear Valley Heart & Vascular Center.
The Chest Pain Center focuses on timely evaluation of the low- to moderate-risk chest pain patient. Our goal is to have appropriate cardiac diagnostic testing completed and a clinical care decision for patients within 24 hours of arrival.
Chest Pain Center services include:
- Screening of low- to moderate-risk patients with chest pain
- Providing rapid evaluation of symptoms and testing to determine whether patients are having a heart attack
- Providing coordinated cae for chest pain patients
