Please bring the following items with you to the interview:
DD214 (if prior military)
Always arrive in a timely manner, dressed to impress. First impressions can sometimes be lasting impressions.
Make sure that your cell phone is on silent and out of site when you arrive for your interview. It is very unprofessional to receive calls or text during the interview process. If you have an emergency or urgent situation, we are more than happy to reschedule your interview at a more convenient time.
Make sure that you are dressed appropriately. Business attire is always your best bet. You should remove visible body piercings or excessive earrings and cover tattoos.
Shorts, tank tops, revealing clothes, flip flops, faded or torn apparel and denim are never appropriate for interviews.
A fresh copy of your most current resume is always a plus.
Prepare a list of questions that you have for the department in regards to the position that you are interviewing for. Examples of topics to ask about are: What hours will I be required to work? How many shifts a week does the position require? What is the dress code? How long will I be in training if I am offered and accept the position?
Do not chew gum and be scent-aware, overly strong perfumes or cigarette smoke could distract the interviewers from the things you want them to notice.
Be enthusiastic and make your energy level obvious. Let your personality shine through.
Use good English, avoid using slangs.
